Gulf News, Dec 4 . Colombo: A high profile Indian astrologer has been
arrested following charges of sexual abuse of women who sought his
services. Swamiji Kishore Shastri, who advertised himself as India's

Mumbai: Abhishek Kasliwal, who was arrested on a rape charge, will
undergo brain mapping and polygraph (lie detector) tests at the Regional
Forensic Science Laboratory Bangalore, police said in Mumbai.
The Worli Police have decided to make Abhishek, scion of Shree Ram
mills, to undergo the above tests to ascertain the truth in the alleged
rape incident, since there are a lot of discrepancies between the
information provided by him and the complainant about the entire
episode, police said.
Abhishek will undergo the polygraph test first followed by the
brain-mapping test at the FSL Bangalore, all of which is expected to
last for approximately three hours, police sources said.
Sources said that report of brain-mapping test is an admissible evidence
in the court of law, while a polygraph test report provides in-depth
information about the level of conceit by the person in the case.
A local court had on Friday allowed Mumbai police to subject Abhishek to
scientific tests.
Abhishek was arrested by Worli police last week on the complaint of a
52-year-old Anglo-Indian woman who charged him of rape and assault.

A young couple was lynched by the girl's family in full public view in
Patna on Friday morning for getting married within the same gotra.
The couple — Shailendra Mishra and Pushpanjali alias Juli — had just
returned on Thursday after getting married in Hajipur court against the
wishes of their family members.
Shailendra and Juli were thrashed by bricks, stones and iron rods in
Patna's Keshavraj ka gali, eyewitnesses said. Pushpanjali's father Umesh
Mishra, an astrologer by profession, has been arrested for leading the
mob, the police said.
The couple, who had been in a relationship for several years, had eloped
on January 13. They reappeared on Thursday after getting married in
Hajipur court.
Police said when Umesh Mishra got to know where the couple was staying,
he led a mob comprising his neighbours and relatives, went to
Shailendra's house and dragged them out.
Sources said he was thrashed like animals, tortured, humiliated and
beaten to death.
Seeing her husband being killed by her family members, Juli urged her
father to kill her also. Umesh did exactly the same. He thrashed her
till she dropped dead. The drama ended in just 10 minutes. After doing
the couple in, the killers escaped.
Why such a fate befell them? Both Shailendra and Juli were Brahmins but
belonged to the same gotra, or lineage.

Last time I checked, Cuba wasn't BELOW sea level. Again, last time I
checked, most of the (natural disaster) deaths were due to flooding in
areas BELOW sea level.
Most of the time in other cities ABOVE sea level, the number of deaths
in hurricanes is pretty low, if any at all.
Please, if you are going to try and draw conclusions for your agenda,

police on charges of molesting a minor girl in her house at Dabri in
South-West Delhi today.
According to the police, Ganesh Jha (25), a native of Bihar, was the

A minor girl, resident of Dabri, had attended three Yoga classes held by
Ganesh. During these visits, he also agreed to give her tuitions on
weekdays at her home. He had started giving her tuitions early this week.
Today, Ganesh reached girl's home around 3-30 p.m. After answering the
door, the girl's mother went in to fetch water for the priest. When she
was in the kitchen, her daughter raised an alarm. The girl then told her
mother that Ganesh had molested her. The mother then informed the
police. The Dabri police have arrested Ganesh.

Eh? Russia wasn't at war with Iraq and probably had more military relations
with Saddams Iraq than with the Americans. So from the Russian point of view
they were giving a friend (former US friend) some information to aid Iraq in
dealing with the US unilateral invasion.
The intelligence was most likely gained through spying etc. and some of it
was wrong anyway so perhaps the Russians just got used as a vehicle...
BTW i did and still do support the toppling of Saddam , the US was
technically wrong but morally right so meh!
