There is no occupation, Thermodore. Even the ICJ knows it, but is
afraid to tell. There is only an occupational occupation of the
occupationally occupied palisimians.

Evidently, Thermodore, jihads, intifadas and running around like crazy
with an AK are a high-risk occupation. They should have been occupied
with road-building, garbage collection and suchlike.

Interesting, Thermodore, and what support can arabs possibly provide to
the US?

They are not "stateless people", they do not belong to a distinct
ethnic group, the WB palisimians, who lived there before 1994, have
jordanian citizenship and are, formally, jordanians. They have Jordan,
they have palistan-hamasistan and want a VIP pass to Israel too.

They live in refugee camps, so formal statuses notwithstanding, they
are currently de-facto stateless. Going to work in Israel and coming
back does not give one a state, and Jordan is by no means their state
either. The creation of a State of Palestine is essential for these
refugees.

As I mentioned here, palisimians palisimians exist, as well as their
palistan with its hamasistan, they do not need no recognition.
Besides, Thermodore, Israel proposed an autonomy plan for Gaza and WB
palisimians in 1979 after a Camp David agreements with Egypt, by
offering a 5-year transitional self-rule, followed by direct
negotiations, without preconditions, between all relevant parties, on
the final status of Gaza and the WB, including statehood, borders,
refugees. Palisimians refused it and have been occupied with oppressing
everybody with their collective self ever since.

How can a so-called settlement be illegal, if the land itself is
disputed, Thermodore?

Thermodore, we reviewed the ICJ before, didn't we? Let us review that
famous ICJ ruling.
A.) The ICJ ruled that, it had jurisdiction over the case, and that it
involved only a dispute between Israel and the UN, rather than a
dispute between Israel and palisimians.
B.) The ICJ ruled that, provisions of the international law regarding
israeli right of self defense are inapplicable, since there is no state
involved other than Israel.
C.) The ICJ ruled that the West Bank is occupied territory.
D.) Thus, we have a ridiculous situation, in which the ICJ holds that,
there exists an armed conflict, and that the territories are occupied
territories of another state; and at the same time the ICJ asserts
that, Israel has no right to defend itself in that conflict, because
there is no other state involved.

What homeland, please, Thermodore, if they have never had one? It was
part of Jordan all the time. Besides, Thermodore, the resolution 242
does not specify anything except that, everything should be done
through negotiations. Since palisimians have been exibiting a
remarkable lack of interest in rational negotiations and since the most
Israel can give is less than the minimum, that palisimians want to
grab, there is, really, no sense in resolution-thumping, Thermodore.
> And for you to say that their Muslims brothers have deserted them is

That is why Kuwait and the Saudi Arabia kicked palisimians out, and
they are currently being happily killed in Iraq by iraqis, all out of
love and 100% support, I guess.

They don't all live in refugee camps, as not all of them are refugees,
and their camps, bth, do not look like camps, where else are refugees
living with italian marble, spanish tile and japanese refrigerators? In
Jenin, of course.
As to their alleged stateless status, they all received full jordanian
citizenship in 1953. Let them enjoy it. Bth, where else do hereditary,
ie, royal refugees exist?
> Going to work in Israel and coming

Isn't it their problem?

I don't think so.
"After a short period of temporary administration in the West Bank, a
group of leaders, notables and elders representing Palestinian Arabs
who had emigrated from the occupied territories considered joining the
East Bank, a patriotic and nationalist demand and a guarantee against
Israeli dangers. They held two great historic meetings. The first was
in Jericho on 1 December 1948 and the second in Nablus on 28 December
1948. ... Those present adopted resolutions calling on the late King
Abdullah Bin al-Husein to take immediate steps to unify and merge the
two Banks in a single State under his leadership."
King Hussein, March 15, 1972

Relocation is essential to them, instead. They want it too.

It is time for there to be affirmative action in all college and
professional sports!
If affirmative action (referred to as AA from here on in on this tome)
is so good then why is it not exercised in the same respect in college
and professional sports? That would seem to be discrimination against
whites in basketball, football and baseball and discrimination against
blacks in hockey, soccer and volleyball.
What is good for the goose is good for the gander. The demographic
makeups of the college and professional sports should reflect the
demographic makeup of that locality. Sure, teams like the New England
Patriots, Green Bay Packers, Boston Red Sox, Minnesota Timberwolves,
Atlanta Braves, Chicago Bulls AND Bears, Charlotte Bobcats,
Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks, NY Rangers AND Islanders, Boston
Bruins and Florida Marlins AND Panthers might not be as good as a
result of the exclusionism that currently pervades in those localities
as well as others, but that would just be the breaks.
If society must do it then why does not professional sports have to be
doing it? Anything less that AA being applied to the college and pro
sports listed above is heresy and hypocrisy and racial discrimination.
Go Team!

Maybe JF and his pedophile lover Darrell Larose ("geoff_one") should try
foreskin restoration. It'll keep them busy enough for a while to give us a
rest from their incessant trolling.

I have stayed in both Pittsburgh and San Jose.
Apart from Toronto (which is Canadian), I think you should visit San
Francisco, New York, Boston to see a different sight of the US.
I love pretty much the same things about London that you

Man's influence has pushed atm CO2 well beyond the natural historical
peak. Look at this graph of est atm CO2 for the past 400,000 years
<http://www.grida.no/climate/vital/02.htm>.
CO2 at 280-290ppmv appears to be the natural (ie non human influenced)
historical cyclical peak. That graph does not show it, but 2005 levels
were in excess of 370 ppmv (ie off the graph), and has increased from a
pre-industrial concentration of about 280 ppmv.

Wrong, see above graph and compare current levels.

> Fires - we couldn't possibly stop it...
Why not, they are already planning/building a huge road through the
amazon, that is in essence a firebreak. How can you predict what man
will do in the future. If the "great" forests do end up drying and
becoming such a threat then it is quite conceivable future governments
will be forced to create containment lines, which will also encourage
further exploitation.

You don't need to put the fire out, only contain it, and eventually it
rains, or the wind turns it back on itself etc example Indonesian fires
a few years ago. But you are comparing current fire fighting measures to
imagined extreme environmental conditions of the future, and not
allowing for changes in policies to take that into account. see my prior
paragraph.

err that has been happening for millenia, and unless it's a global and
non-stop phenomenon they are but blips on the radar. Their dimming
effects don't last beyond a few years of the eruption (one or two
decades at the most for the biggest, eg Krakatoa?)

You don't make sense. My point was your cyclical historical changes have
now been adulterated by man's influence, so can no longer be relied upon
to repeat. Then you say my point is irrelevant because man has impacted
upon the natural cycle. Anyway if by that you mean man's impact is
negligable compared to natural processes, please explain the
*exponential* rise in atm CO2 from 1870 to the present.
>>>Judging by previous cycles, the longer & hotter the warm period,
>>>the colder, longer & more extreme the ice age will be.
>>>Ours is one of the longest & warmest known periods.
"Judging by previous cycles", CO2 would have been at its peak at under
300ppmv were it not for the industrial release of CO2 by man.

yes, I know all that. It's quite disturbing that pollution from the
unfiltered processes of the pre- 80's has been masking global warming,
and hence so much worse is to come.
However my bone of contention is your suggestion that perhaps there
could be a quick turn around due to global dimming brought about by
global warming processes towards another ice age. I suggest that man has
pushed atm CO2 far beyond what nature has been able to reverse in the
past, and there is still a lot more CO2 to be released over the next 50
years (we are only just starting the decline side of peak oil curve and
the two largest populations in the world are just starting their
industrial/economic catchup). Other than sustained global volcanism
(unlikely) there will be no natural mechanisms big enough and sustained
enough to have much of an impact (sorry but I can't see us allowing all
the forests of the world to burn down). Whatever fires there are, their
-% dimming will not overcome the +% greenouse capacity we have added.
I do however share your pessimism. :)
Till man reduces CO2 atm output to below what natural sinks can consume,
we are in for a warm and wet (sea level wise) future.
