These Jihadis are getting most funds from charitable donations
in the west ie western taxpayers and mad liberals of the EU

excerpt
Europe hands over Palestinian aid

Thousands of Palestinians depend on food aid
The European Union has handed over 64m euros (£44m) in aid to help the
poorest Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
But it said that future aid depended on the incoming Hamas government
showing a commitment to work for peace, saying the group was "at a
crossroads".

The EU is due to give another 60m euros to cover official salaries and
energy expenses for the Palestinian Authority.

The one-off aid package was agreed last month after Israel withheld
monthly customs revenues from the PA.

See how the EU and US fund the Palestinians
The money will be distributed via the United Nations.

The EU was the largest single donor to the Palestinians in 2005.

'No blackmail'

In Brussels on Monday, EU external relations commissioner Benita
Ferrero-Waldner handed a cheque for 64m euros to Karen AbuZayed, of
the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).

One brave woman who has given up Islam. If half a billion did the same
, only the men would remain Muslims. The Prophet himslef put apostates
to death so it is Islamic

excerpt
Sultan told the Times she is no longer a practicing Islamic. "I am a
secular human being," she said.

The other guest on the program, identified as an Egyptian professor of
religious studies, Dr. Ibrahim al-Khouli, asked, "Are you a heretic?"
He then said there was no point in rebuking or debating her, because
she had blasphemed against Islam, the Prophet Muhammad and the Koran.

Sultan told the Times that she regarded his words as a fatwa, a
religious condemnation. Since then, she said, she has received
numerous death threats on her answering machine and by e-mail.

One message said, the Times reported, "Oh, you are still alive? Wait
and see." She also received an e-mail message in Arabic, that said,
"If someone were to kill you, it would be me."

Sultan said her mother, who still lives in Syria, is afraid to contact
her directly, speaking only through a sister who lives in Qatar. She
said she worried more about the safety of family members here and in
Syria than she did for her own.

"I have no fear," she told the Times. "I believe in my message. It is
like a million-mile journey, and I believe I have walked the first and
hardest 10 miles."

The clash we are witnessing around the world is not a clash of
religions or a clash of civilizations," Sultan told the Times. "It is
a clash between two opposites, between two eras. It is a clash between
a mentality that belongs to the Middle Ages and another mentality that
belongs to the 21st century. It is a clash between civilization and
backwardness, between the civilized and the primitive, between
barbarity and rationality."
In the debate, she questioned the religious teachings that prompt
young people to commit suicide in the name of God. "Why does a young
Muslim man, in the prime of life, with a full life ahead, go and blow
himself up?" she told the Times. "In our countries, religion is the
sole source of education and is the only spring from which that
terrorist drank until his thirst was quenched."
Sultan is, she told the Times, "working on a book that -- if it is
published -- it's going to turn the Islamic world upside down. I have
reached the point that doesn't allow any U-turn. I have no choice. I
am questioning every single teaching of our holy book."

The working title of the book is, Sultan told the Times, The Escaped
Prisoner: When God Is a Monster.

To work, all the OPEC members would need to toe the line voluntarily and/or
there'd need to be a way to penalize ones that didn't. Experience shows
there's little danger of that.

Even today, members violate production quotas when prices rise even
marginally since they can't bear to turn down the enormous profits from
doing so. If prices rise significantly, it will be because OPEC can't
produce enough oil to meet the elastic demand or doing so simply costs a lot
more than it does now. They're not cohesive enough to act together for any
extended period of time.

They also understand that if oil prices rise too fast, it will cause buyers
to switch to other fuel sources, and once that happens they're unlikely to
switch back to oil. Nobody wants to kill the goose happily laying golden
eggs. The strategy, then, is to raise them slowly and consistently enough
that nobody is shocked into switching, even if at some point it would be
economically beneficial to do so. I think the analogy is boiling a frog --
do it slowly enough and they won't notice.

The problem is that the U.S. does NOT pay the actual price of the fuel, due
to tax SUBSIDIES, not taxes on the gas.

http://www.progress.org/gasoline.htm
"The true price of gasoline is as high as $15.14 a gallon, according to a
new report released by the International Centre for Technology Assessment. "

Actually, other, even mor authoritative reports puts it at about $19/gallon,
so MOST of what you pump into your gas hog is taxes that someone ELSE paid
for.

To remove enough subsidies to push the price to $6/gallon would be the FIRST
step in the right direction.

Yup. Great report! Now there is a social cost added to driving. All that
"free parking" that we don't pay for. All those parking spaces in the cities
that are unproductive. And, yes, the cost of guarding our national reserves.
You liberals are just too funny! Just when I think you coudn't come up with

I judge a person's open mindedness by the ability of that person to try
eating new ethnic foods. If a person is open minded, they would try the
new food without reservation or hesitation. Then if they don't like it,
after trying it, I don't have any problem with that. But if they
refuse to even try something new, I don't consider them open-minded at all.

I think many Americans are fairly open minded - but only to a certain
degree.

Wash it. Regularly and thoroughly.

Undercoat it -- which worked Just Fine when I got my two new ones in
1976.

Murkens tend to think their inexpensive cars don't need maintenance.
Maybe it's because they can't afford it -- which is why they bought a
cheap car in the first place. My two 1976 models were driven often in
MN winters, and didn't develop the sorts of rust problems I've heard
others complain about.

All it really took was a visit to the car wash maybe twice a month.

>... and the moronic aluminum block engine design?

There was nothing Moronic about it, Providing you installed and/or
maintained the coolant overflow system. I'll grant you that GM did a
stupid thing by not putting one onto the early models. But I put one
on my 71 because I happened to know that Not having one was pretty
stupid across the board.

The problem developed when coolant levels in the motor dropped below
the head. If you allowed that to happen, you were your own worst
enemy. In the later models, the CRS functioned well. If memory
serves, the motors came with at least a 60k warranty on them in 76 and
77 -- but by then it was far too late. That warranty, though, was one
of the best in the industry, at the time.

If you wish to complain about the fact that the motor was made of
aluminum and had acid-etched cynlinder bores, you might be well
reminded the M-B had Precisely the same alloy and Precisely the same
sort of acid etching of the cylinder bores as well. There was no
problem with those motors as a general rule that ever developed simply
by virtue of the fact that they were high silicon aluminum alloy.

The key was keeping the coolant levels proper. Murkens tend to forget
such things or think they aren't necessary.

> Granted we got 100,000+ miles out of a
>71, but it wasn't without a lot of bondo and motor oil.

If you required bondo, that might have been cheaper than spending a
coupla bucks at a car wash twice a month. If you developed cylinder
problems, there was an easy and inexpensive solution readily
available. You simply didn't know about it.

Sorry. We learn lessons from bad experience, seldom from good ones.

But a little simple cluefulness is a good thing, right across the
board.

Clouds, do you know your purpose?
Clouds, to what place you fly?
Clouds, do you feel the force of
Love in the autumn sky?

Clouds, can you feel the distance
Soaring through time and space?
Man, can you feel Existence
Touching you on the face?

Sun beams between them, screaming,
Cinging us - and the chill
Beckons the soul that's dreaming
And through it forges Will.

Pelican cloud is flying
With long distended beak,
Look at it as it's dying
And turns into a streak -

Dragonfly, wings extended,
Amid white tulip blooms,
Beaches made of white sand and
On their side, hotel rooms,

Columns of wind and vapor:
Fetus amid them sits
On luscious breast - the Shaper
Vanishes in their mist!

Wool of a lamb uplifted
Over the sky it laves
Sands of Sahara shifting -
Foam of the ocean waves -

Feathery line of funnels -
Geisers that through them burst -
Streams through the sky make tunnels
And slake the heaven's thirst:

Soft cherry blossoms paling
And making pillows white,
Yacht on an ocean sailing
And vanishing from sight,

Soft feather-bedded pillows
Light like the milky way
White foam of ocean billows
And many shades of gray

Sail in the ocean sunset!
Airplane over the seas!
Mingling of fire and dust and
Wisps of the seaside breeze!

Light of eternal morning!
Back of beluga whale!
Sides of space shuttle soaring!
Dome of the Taj Mahal!

Pyre of Sardanapalus!
Spanish baptismal font!
Luminous orchid blossoms!
Whites of the eyes that haunt!

Fractal designs combining
Imaginal and real!
Mind and the heart refining
All things to think and feel!

Merger of mind and soul -
Reason and sensuousness!
Universe in its whole
With its sublime caress!

Soft incandescent foam!
Fruit of the wind and sun!
There they begin, there roam,
And with next look, they're gone!

Sun goes down on the west, and
Moon rises on the east -
Full and complete, and rested
Over this painter's feast:

Clouds are between them floating
Life's colors merged in one
And earth upon them doting
As it lets go of Sun -

Look at them as they travel
Over the sky of blue
Lift your heart to their level
And by them be made true.

Yeah, about FIFTEEN MINUTES before the "Isr-eli" seige so conveniently was
ready to roll. As if anybody alive is going to buy that the Zionists didn't
know EXACTLY when the observers were pulling out, and an expedition of this
size was put together and executed in that brief flash of an interval!

{Restored because it's a helluva lot closer to factual than the crap Debris

and
continues to support Israel's numerous violations of UN Resolutions,
including Resolutions 194, 242, and 338. The military enchroachment into
Palestinian land and lives has been relentless and brutal, and the people
here now find themselves imprisoned within a wall that surrounds most of the
West Bank, and some cities entirely.

Furthermore, movement inside the walls is severely restricted and most
people inside the Jenin district are confined here unless they go through
tons of red tape to get permission from Israel to travel. Even within the
confines of Jenin there are dozens of permanent checkpoints and many more
"floating checkpoints" that can pop up anywhere and turn a 15 minute drive
into an 8 hour ordeal. This happens day after day after day. It's rare
that I don't have students who show up late or don't show up at all because
of checkpoints.

During "closures" entire cities are shut down, the roads to and from the
city are blocked, and even leaving your home is prohibited, sometimes for
months at a time - except for an hour or two a week to get food. These
daily restrictions have disrupted every aspect of Palestinians' lives.
Israeli soldiers roaming Palestinian streets keep kids from going to school
and adults from going to work. The economy is destroyed and the employment
rate is through the roof.

Naturally, the reaction here ranges from frustration to desperation to rage.
Does that suprise anyone? Similar restrictions in America imposed by a
foreign power would elicit a similar range of reactions. If a neighboring
government built a wall around Louisville Kentucky and told Louisvillians
when they can and can't leave, some would hold candles on a street corner
while others would pick up arms. This is human nature. The young men who
abducted me probably felt they had no other recourse because nobody will
listen to them otherwise. Is that so hard to understand?

I'm not going to talk about the blow by blow account of the abduction. The
bottom line is that I walked away that day while several poor souls perished
in Jericho while fighting for their freedom and rights. Why is it a "story"
if some white American has a gun pointed to his head when so many others of
"color" died yesterday in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Palestine? Why doesn't CNN
call to interview their grieving families?

The leader of Al Aqsa personally intervened to help me, rode in the backseat
of a car with me as he took me back to the university, and then apologized
publicly at AAUJ to the president and the full body of foreign teachers.
When has George Bush ever apologized? Don't hold your breath.

I feel safe in Palestine, and I invite anyone who reads this to walk a mile
in the shoes of a Palestinian. Come here and see for yourself what I'm
talking about. Trust me, you won't ever see what I see on CNN.

If the Aussies hadn't evolved, Suneel Shethi wouldn't be living in
Australia, adamantly refusing to leave or move to his mathrabhoomi. In
fact, he's never ever lived there, even though he tries to give the
impression that he has. He knows what it's like, and he's not willing to

And unlike the Aussies, casteist assholes like you haven't evolved to

I do not understand, Thermodore, how can you be happy and unhappy at

Avnery is, indeed, a major pest. What do you know,Themodore, he even
called a palisimian human rights group "collaborators". What good can
one expect coming from that ultraleftist crank? Besides, as coming from
the rest of the article later, Avnery does not seem to mind, if those,
who does not share his cranky ideas, are killed, does he? So, what is
the problem?

So, it is a typical Haaretz trick of putting a cart before the horse.
Avnery burps garbage and gets shit in return, cause and effect, not
