Algunos escribidores y comentaristas han dicho que cada cubano tiene un
policía en su cerebro que le auto enfunde temor y miedo ante el tirano
Fidel
Castro. ¿Es éso cierto? No para los que se enfrentaron al sátrapa
caribeño
desde los inicios de su nefasto poder como, por ejemplo: Hubert Matos,
los
combatientes de Girón y el Escambray, los que han sufrido prisión por
enfrentarse al régimen asesino, los actuales disidentes dentro de Cuba
y
otro miles más que no tuvieron miedo en ofrendar sus vidas en aras de
la
libertad sujuzgada por el tirano. Pero, para la mayoría de nosotros los
cubanos es bastante cierto. Es por ello que el historiógrafo José
Duarte
Oropesa llama al primer grupo "LA MINORIA HISTORICA" de todos los
movimientos sociales. Pero, también es cierto que, aún en forma
distinta, el
tirano Fidel Castro tiene su propia policía cerebral como se verá más
adelant
El auto enfundarse temor y miedo es parte de la estrategia de la
tiranía
castrista, llevada a cabo por los esbirros de la Seguridad del Estado,
y
tiene como objetivo frenar y detener las posibles confrontaciones de
las
masas cubanas en contra del poder totalitario castrista.
Por estos lares del exilio muchos cubanos dicen que Fidel Castro está
loco y
que es capaz de mandar aviones a destruir la planta atómica de Turkey
Point
en la Florida. Yo, hasta ahora, no he conocido cubanos "kamizakes" ni
auto
inmolantes fanáticos religiosos. Si hemos conocido a los corredores de
larga
distancia como Tortoló en Granada. Asimismo, hay quienes propagan
(acadé-
micos, comentaristas, periodistas y ex-castristas) en todos los
programas de
radio y la prensa que el tirano Fidel Castro tiene la capacidad de
crear un
caos en los medios de comunicación de los Estados Unidos y que,
también,
puede introducir la guerra bacteriológica, especialmente en el Estado
de la
Florida para acabar con el EXILIO CUBANO como si estos tipos de guerra
o
armas tienen nombres específicos de aniquilar a cubanos y no a los
negros
norteamericanos, los anglosajones, las otras comunidades
latinoamericanas
así como sus espías residentes en Miami. Es decir, nos insuflan el
miedo
paralizante para que no hagamos nada y nos conformemos con el status
quo
hasta que el tirano muera tranquilamente en su cama. Bien ha dicho un
disidente dentro de Cuba que
"VIVIR CON MIEDO NO ES VIVIR" y tiene mucha razón. Es por ello que hace
tiempo muchos disidentes dentro de Cuba empezaron a VIVIR como: Elías
Biscet, Maritza Lugo, Vladimiro Roca, el gran periodista Manuel Vázquez
Portal y otros muchos más.
Para que sea vea el poder del miedo quisiera mencionar un ejemplo muy
claro
que ocurrió en la antigua Unión Soviética relatado en un muy conocido
libro
(del que no recuerdo su nombre) en el cual se decia del temor que
tenían los
soldados soviéticos de enfrentarse a los soldados alemanes durante la
Segunda Guerra Mundial pues le tenían tal pánico que, en lugar de
pelear en
contra de ellos, se rendían. El jefe de un ejército soviético obligaba
a sus
soldados que tocaran los cuerpos muertos de los soldados alemanes para
que
comprobaran que eran de carne y hueso y que no eran de hierro ni
superhombres. Siguiendo este hilo de la fuerza del auto enfudarse el
miedo
miremos el caso de Cuba. Cuando la visita del Papa a la Isla hace tres
años
este le dijo al pueblo: "NO TENGAN MIEDO" y, sin embargo, aún la
mayoría de
sus oyentes continuan con el auto enfundado temor..
Sobre la locura del degenerado tirano muchos cubanos la aceptan como
una
realidad, capaz de hacer cualquier locura pero, yo no he conocido que
el Sr.
Castro haya puesto sus testículos en el yunque y se los haya aplastado
con
un martillo. Si he conocido lo aferrado que está a la vida y, para
probarlo,
se narrarán una serie de hechos que confirman que la cobardía del
tirano se
esconde bajo la cobardía del resto de las personas que él siempre ha
manipulado, amenazado y chantajeado.
El tirano Fidel Castro ha sido y es un cobarde y su permanencia tan
prolongada en el poder en Cuba se debe, fundamentalmente, a la cobardía
de
muchos cubanos que no hemos sabido imitar los ejemplos gloriosos de
JOSE
MARTI, ANTONIO MACEO, MAXIMO GOMEZ Y LOS MILES DE
MAMBISES QUE PELEARON CON MUCHO VALOR Y EN CONDICIONES BIEN DIFICILES Y
DISPAREJAS EN CONTRA DE LAS ENORMES FUERZAS QUE TENIAN LOS
COLONIALISTAS
ESPAÑOLES. También, su larga tiranía obedece a que muchas personas,
dentro y
fuera de Cuba,se dejaron dominar por su fantástica verborrea al igual
que
pasó con Hitler en Alemania, Mussolini en Italia y otros muchos
habladores
simiescos que han pululado en la historia de la Humanidad. Es decir, la
palabra y el gesto como armas de sometimiento a "la masa", junto al
látigo,
la traición, el chantaje, la amenaza, etc., como elementos de sus
gobiernos
totalitarios.
Si se recuerda y se observó el gesto estúpido, teatral y simiesco del
tirano
Fidel Castro cuando, públicamente, lo confrontó el Presidente de El
Salvador, Don Francisco Flores, durante el último show social de los
gobernantes de la irrelevante América Latina, España y Portugal,
celebrado
en Panamá en el año 2OOO se vió, muy claramente, la imitación que el
tirano
hacía de otro bufón igual que él, el dictador de Italia Benito
Mussolini.
Además, hay otro elemento no muy explorado ni estudiado de por qué el
tirano
Fidel Castro ha sometido por tanto tiempo al pueblo de Cuba y es que,
siempre ha tenido la habilidad y suerte de cobijarse bajo las faldas de
otras personas y que le valieran que le salvaran su vida en múltiples
ocasiones. Veamos algunas muestras:
Según Carlos Franqui, buen amigo del tirano Fidel Castro y director que
fué
del Periódico Revolución (ahora Granma) en su libro "Vidas, aventuras y
desastres de un hombre llamado Castro" (debió especificar del tirano
Fidel
Castro, pues Castro se apellidan muchas personas que no tienen que ver
con
el maldito tirano) el sátrapa caribeño quiso hacerle un atentado a otro
gatillo alegre de la época (fines de los años de l94O) el Sr. Rolando
Masferrer y le falló. Este último trató de cobrarle la cuenta a Fidel
Castro
buscándolo para matarlo pero éste se escondió en casa de Ernesto de la
Fé
quien le salvó la vida no permitiendo que Masferrer lo matara. Primera
cobardía, primera falda para cobijarse.
Cuando el asalto al Cuartel Moncada de Santiago de Cuba en 1953 hubo un
automóvil en que iba el Sr. Fidel Castro que se perdió en el trayecto
hacia
el lugar del encuentro y no entró en el cuartel ni confrontó batalla.
El y
su hermano Raúl salieron huyendo del lugar y se tropezaron con el
teniente
Sarría un soldado negro del ejército de Batista quien los protegió y
evitó
que otros soldados los mataran. Luego, el teniente Sarría entregó a
ambos
fugitivos al Monseñor Pérez Serantes, arzobispo de Santiago de Cuba
quien
logró que el dictador Fulgencio Batista le respetara las vidas a ambos
asaltantes pese a que muchos soldados y jóvenes convencidos por el Sr.
Fidel
Castro murieran en la fracasada asonada. Otra cobardía y doble
encubrimiento
bajo las faldas del Teniente Sarría y del Monseñor Pérez Serantes a
quien el
tirano Fidel Castro premió, al tomar el poder en Cuba, mandándolo al
exilio
junto a otros cientos de sacerdotes y monjas.
Después de la huída del dictador Fulgencio Batista y la toma del poder
en
Cuba por las tropas de Fidel Castro. hubo un capitán o comandante (no
recuerdo su nombre) el cual fué designado Presidente del Tribunal
Supremo
quien relató, en un artículo en la revista Verde Olivo (si mal no
recuerdo)
, órgano oficial de las fuerzas armadas castristas, como se llevó a
cabo la
toma del Cuartel militar El Uvero en la Sierra Maestra de la Provincia
de
Oriente (la primera que hacían los rebeldes). En primera línea, cerca
de la
entrada del Cuartel estaba Camilo Cienfuegos al frente de un grupo de
atacantes. A un kilómetro se encontraba Raúl Castro con otros atacantes
y,
¡a dos (2) kilómetros! de la puerta de entrada al Cuartel Uvero Vds. no
se
imaginan quien se encontraba? Pues, nada más y nada menos, que el Sr.
Fidel
Castro quien luego aparecía como el héroe de la toma del Cuartel. Bien
resguardado y protegido estaba el "valiente comandante."!
Cuando la sublevación del Comadante Hubert Matos en contra del rumbo
comunizante del gobierno del tirano Fidel Castro, éste mandó al
Comandante
Camilo Cienfuegos a controlar la situación, lo que Camilo logró y, como
premio, lo asesinaron los hermanos Fidel y Raúl Castro. El tirano se
robó la
gloria de Camilo apareciendo en escena cuando toda estaba bajo control.
Otra
cobardía y otro cobijarse para que lo salvaran y una bajeza y traición
descomunal al mandar a matar a Camilo Cienfuegos.
Durante los combates en Bahía de Cochinos, donde desembarcaron un grupo
de
más de mil exiliados cubanos para tratar de derrocar al sátrapa de
Fidel
Castro, la persona que desde el comienzo estaba al frente de las
fuerzas
castristas fué el traidor gallego Fernández. Cuando debido a la
traición del
gobierno norteamericano del presidente John F. Kennedy los exiliados se
quedaron sin repuestos ni suministros para seguir peleando tuvieron que
sucumbir ante la enorme fuerza de armas y hombres que tenían los
castristas.
Las batallas duraron por tres días y el tirano Fidel Castro no se
apareció
sino al final, con fotógrafo y todo, para comenzar el show del triunfo.
Bien
se cobija el comandante en miedo detrás de quienes exponen las vidas
por él.
Los gobiernos norteamericanos demócratas de John F. Kennedy, Jimmy
Carter y
del amoral Bill Clinton fueron fieles cobijas y sumisos colegas de la
cobardía del tirano al aceptarle crisis serias de relaciones
internacionales
cuando la Crisis de Octubre y las salidas masivas de exiliados cubanos.
Sin
embargo, el tirano Fidel Castro no tuvo el valor de enfrentarle estas
situaciones a los gobiernos norteamericanos republicanos de Ronald
Reagan y
George W. Bush, Sr. Bien sabe el sátrapa de que palo se rasca su
cobardía.
En mi libro "CUBA, SOMETIMIENTO, RAZON DE ESTADO" (página 25) escribí
lo
siguiente: "Es un caso curioso éste "líder" que, "participando" en el
ataque
al Cuartel Moncada, siendo prisionero del dictador Fulgencio Batista,
perseguido por la policía mexicana, perseguido por las tropas
batistianas

Many people deny that evolution of species occurred on earth,
mostly because of two reasons:
1) emotionally they cannot accept something that is in direct
conflict with the Bible and the beliefs of Christianity, and
2) their total education in science has been abysmal
If you die and get buried, how much of your body would be left after
100 years, how much after 1000 years, how much after 10,000 years?
Most of us will agree that most mammal bodies after 10,000 years would
be completely gone. What after 100,000 years? What after a million
years? What after 10 million years?
Conclusion: Remains or fossils of mammals from tens or hundreds
of thousands or millions of years ago are very rare.
Evolution is a fact. Darwin was a great scientist. Some of the
possible mechanisms of evolution, even now, are not well understood
by many people. One of the main enablers is TIME --
and millions of years of it!
The following simple example explains one way in which the
characteristics of a population can change over time.
Assume a population of ancestors of giraffes had short necks,
e.g. average 12 inches. This is an average, the real length for the
population of course varies over a range.
Assume for the sake of discussion that the length varies roughly
from 8 and 16 inches. Environmental drivers (food, water, diseases,
trees, parasites, carnivores, selection, etc., etc.,) and random
mutations will usually change this population slightly in an arbitrary
direction. Some populations hardly change over millions of years.
Others change rapidly within tens of thousands of years.
Assume due to environmental factors giraffes with the longer necks
in this population are favored ever so slightly, e.g. due to
wide spread diseases in low growing vegetation or
many more other competitors for low growing
vegetation. So in every generation in this population the animals
with the slightly longer necks have a small advantage. This
segment of the population then thrives a little more and
produces just a tiny bit more offspring, e.g, the average neck length
for the total population increases say with only 0.001 inch per
generation (= every 20 years). This is really a very tiny shift in the
average neck length in the total population.
But now comes the amazing part:
If we assume a steady trend, this means in 1 million years, the average
neck length of the total population would have increased by
1,000,000/ 20 times 0.001 = 50 inches = 4 ft and 2 inches!!!!
Of course trends are often not linear. They could happen much slower
or much faster or even in spurts of no, slow, backward or fast change.
And of course trends or changes are not confined to one characteristic
at all (such as neck length in this example).
The above is only an example of how the mean of one characteristic
of a total population can shift considerably over time. This is only
an illustration of how the mechanism works.
My main point is that many people cannot understand that if you
multiply a huge number (time, 1 million years, 10 million years, 100
million years) times a very small number you get a sizable
number, and thus a remarkable change in the total population.
We only see a snapshot in time. So we do not observe a change
because our lifespan is way too short. So we deny change,
we deny evolution - we are against 'it'.

Dear friends,
The Asian Human Rights Commission is seriously concerned by the
apparent delay of a trial of Ma Suu, a Burmese migrant worker who died
after being beaten and set on fire by her employers, Suchart and
Yuwadee Akkavibul in July 2002. The accused Thai airforce officer and
his wife had escaped justice for two years, because of the officer's
influence and position of authority. (See further: UA-91-2004)
According to the information we have received, hearings were held to
take evidence two times on July 26 and August 4 2004. After hearing a
number of witnesses and obtaining strong evidence, the public
prosecutor charged the accused, Suchart and Yuwadee, with murder,
confinement and harbouring an illegal alien, and the case went to the
full court on November 1, 2004 (Black No. 1089/2547 at Uthaithanee
Provincial Court).
However, the court delayed the trial by setting the next hearing in
January 2006 saying that the court needed to handle pending cases
before new ones, under a new procedure. Local human rights groups say
that some new cases will be delayed for about three or four years
under these circumstances. Ma Suu's lawyer worries that the case will
be weakened by this delay as it is not certain that witnesses will be
available at the convenience of the court over a year from now.
The AHRC calls for your urgent intervention into this matter. Please
send a letter to Mr Kampree Kaocharern, the Attorney General of
Thailand, and urge him to take prompt steps to speed up the case,
considering the brutality and urgency and the fact that the case has
already been considerably delayed before the accused is an airforce
officer. Please also urge him to take evidence from witnesses prior to
the next hearing in 2006 in order to prevent damage to the prosecution
case.

UPDATED INFORMATION:
An 18-year-old Burmese migrant worker, Ma Suu, was brutally murdered
by her employees, Suchart Akkavibul and his wife Yuwadee, who set her
on fire alleging theft in Lop Buri Province, Thailand, in early July
2002. Two years after the incident on June 25, 2004, Suchart and his
wife finally appeared before the Uthaithanee Provincial Court.
However, they were given bail on the grounds that Suchart is a state
officer, although the prosecutor opposed bail. Suchart Akkavibul is a
special group commander in the Royal Thai Airforce.
The public prosecutor then applied to the court in order to take
testimony from the witnesses before the entry of the charge in the
court under Section 237 of the Criminal Procedure Code B.E.2477
[1928]. According to Section 237, when there are reasonable grounds to
believe that it is difficult for the witness to give testimony in the
future, the public prosecutor can apply motion to the court to take
his testimony promptly before the entry of the charge in the court.
The court received this application and hearings were held two times
on July 26 and August 4, 2004. Five Burmese workers who were employed
by Suchart gave their testimony at the hearings. Their names were
recorded as Mr Janai, Mr Chid, Mr Chai, Mr Nai and Mr Sang. At the
hearings, they testified that they saw that Ma Suu was severely beaten
by the employers. Some of them also testified that they saw her burn
injuries after the incident. Another Thai employer named Samrueng
Ponnikorn, who had been involved in the incident, also testified
against the two accused with the agreement that he would be escape
from prosecution. His elder brother, Kamron Ponnikorn has also already
agreed to testify in next hearing on the same condition.
Finally, the Public Prosecutor charged Suchart and his wife with
murder, confinement and harbouring an illegal alien under Sections 289
and 310 of the Penal Code of Thailand and Section 64 of the
Immigration Act B.E.2522 [1979]. The first hearing of the case was
held at Uthaithanee Provincial Court on November 1. Although the
initial progress looked good, the court set the next hearing for
January 2006. As a new hearing system was enforced a year ago, the
court needs time to handle pending cases filed in the old hearing
system prior to hearing new cases. However, local human rights groups
argue that enforcing the new hearing system is being used as an excuse
to drag on trial in some cases, and this case must be heard without
further delay due to its brutality and urgency. The accused Thai
airforce officer and his wife had already escaped justice for two
years, apparently because of the officer's influence and position of
authority.
A journalist working for the Voice of America is also scheduled to
give a statement in the next hearing. He is the person who recorded Ma
Suu's statement about the incident and took her photos when he visited
her at the hospital in July 2004.
Ma Suu's lawyer worries that the delay will weaken the case and the
accused will enjoy impunity in the end, as most of these witnesses may
not be expected to be available at the convenience of the court over a
year from now. The lawyer is also concerned that even though some
witnesses may appear in the court in 2006, the evidence of the case
will be destroyed because the accused is an influential state officer.
BREIF REMINDER OF THE CASE:
Ma Suu was brutally murdered by her employers, Suchart and Yuwadee
Akkavibul, who set her on fire alleging theft in Lop Buri Province,
Thailand, in early July 2002. Although Ma Suu sustained fatal burn
injuries, her employers abandoned her in a room without treatment or
food for three days and then dumped her by a roadside. On the early
morning of July 7, 2002, a man found Ma Suu on the road and sent her
to a hospital in town. However, she died nine days later, after
implicating the accused three persons;, Suchart his wife and Kamron
Ponnikorn.
SUGGESTED ACTION:
Please send a letter to the Attorney General of Thailand and urge him
to take prompt steps to speed up the case. Please also urge the
Attorney General to file the motion to the Court under Section 237 of
the Criminal Procedure Code B.E.2477 [1928], and take evidences from
the witnesses concerned prior to the next hearing in 2006 in order to
prevent loss of evidence.
