Subject:
I'd like your help

To:
President George Bush

April 10, 2006

Dear President Bush:

I'm about to plan a little trip with my family and extended family, and I
would like to ask you to assist me. I'm going to walk across the border from
the U.S. into Mexico, and I need to make a few arrangements. I know you can
help with this.

I plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas
and laws. I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here.

So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Vicente Fox, that I'm on my
way over? Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:

1. Free medical care for my entire family.

2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need,
whether I use them or not.

3. All government forms need to be printed in English.

4. I want my kids to be taught by English-speaking teachers.

5. Schools need to include classes on American culture and history.

6. I want my kids to see the American flag flying on the top of the flag
pole at their school with the Mexican flag flying lower down.

7. Please plan to feed my kids at school for both breakfast and lunch.

8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to
government services.

9. I do not plan to have any car insurance and I won't make any effort to
learn local traffic laws.

10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from
Pres. Fox to leave me alone, please be sure that all police officers speak
English.

11. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my house top, put flag decals on my
car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any
complaints or negative comments from the locals.

12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, and don't
enforce any labor laws or tax laws.

13. Please tell all the people in the country to be extremely nice and never
say a critical word about me, or about the strain I might place on the
economy.

14. I don't expect to have myself or my family checked or vaccinated against
any communicable diseases.

I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for
all the people who come to the U.S. from Mexico. I am sure that President
Fox won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely.

However, if he gives you any trouble, just invite him to go quail hunting
with your V.P.

Thank you so much for your kind help.

Orem , UT

Finally we can sweep these terrorists to the curb..... the Tamils are
illegal and they will be sent to jail. The police will now be focussing
their attention on them a little more.

NO MORE MONEY FROM CANADA, YOU ASSHOLE TAMILS!

Canada labels Tamils terrorists
>From correspondents in Ottawa
11apr06

CANADA added the Sri Lankan separatist Tamil Tigers to its list of
terrorist organisations, Minister of Public Safety Stockwell Day
announced.

The declaration made the The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), or
Tamil Tigers, a group fighting for the autonomy of northeastern Sri
Lanka, the 39th organisation deemed a terrorist group by the Canadian
Government.

Day said in a statement that the move was taken to protect Canadians
from terrorism.

According to a Human Rights Watch study released last month, the group
extorts money from Sri Lankan Tamil immigrants in Britain and Canada.

"Many members of the diaspora actively support the Tamil Tigers. But the
culture of fear is so strong that even Tamils who don't (support them)
feel they have no choice but to give money," the report said.

The LTTE rebels have been fighting for autonomy for more than 30 years,
in a conflict that has claimed at least 60,000 lives.

It is good to see that these Tamil asswipes will be sent to jail and
they can either shut up or go back home.

PKK uses drugs to finance terror

The New Anatolian / Ankara

Terrorist organizations started drug smuggling to finance their
activities following the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks in the U.S., according
to a new police report.

The Turkish police reported there have been 333 cases of drug smuggling
cases linked to terrorist organizations such as the Kurdistan Workers'
Party (PKK), the Armenian Secret Army for the Liberation of Armenia
(ASALA), the Turkish Communist Party/Marxist-Leninist (TKP/ML) and the
Revolutionary People's Liberation Party / Front (DHKP/C) since 1984.

The report underlines that terrorist organizations are financed through
aid from states that support them and illegal activities, especially
drug smuggling, and maintains that terrorist organizations have a share
in the annual $500 billion drug smuggling pie.

According to the report, some states finance terrorist organizations
and provide them with arms, documents, training and logistical support.

"However terrorist organizations edged towards drug smuggling as a
source of finance as a result of campaigns to condemn states that
support terrorism, especially after Sept. 11," the report added.

The police said that as a result of effective measures taken to deal
with the assets of terrorist groups and the financial aid they receive
from non-governmental organizations (NGO) which support them being
reduced, they have been pushed into further involvement in drug
smuggling.

On an international level the PKK, al-Qaeda, Colombian Revolutionary
Armed Forces (FARC), Sendero Luminoso (Peru), Hezbullah and Basque
Homeland and Freedom (ETA) Spain are the terrorist organizations most
engaged in drug smuggling.

The report also emphasizes that terrorist groups hide their
drug-smuggling business from the public to avoid damaging their image
since drug smuggling is generally seen as a crime against humanity.

Testimony from those arrested in narcotics operations in Turkey, drugs
obtained at their houses and documents showing financial transactions
related to drug smuggling have confirmed that the PKK is engaged in
drug smuggling.

The report further stated that the imprisoned leader of the PKK,
Abdullah Ocalan, has admitted that the organization is involved in drug
smuggling, adding that officers of Hakkari's Anti-Smuggling and
Organized Crime Department seized 42 kilograms of heroin in Yuksekova
last April, which was later proven to belong to the PKK.

Dear Andre:
I am aware that this is a subject that you have studied and have opinions
about it.
I am not at all in agreement with you in legalizing the many illegals
currently here, fine or no fine. Crossing the border illegally is a habit
that Mexicans have exercised for years.

People from Guatemala, Peru, El Salvador, Nicaragua, etc. came in with a
Temporary Permit, which is now very limited, so now they're also coming
through Mexico. The Mexican border is unprotected and vulnerable; thus,
clandestine methods have taken over. Most of these Mexican indians are good
people that want compensation for their hard work so they can support their
families. They come to the U.S. merely to make decent wages, having no love
or loyalty for this country, so it is outrageously wrong and extremely
foolish to offer these people citizenship as if it were the only way to hold
a job.

What are these officials in Washington D.C. thinking about? Have they all
gone mad?
How can this United States waive the existing laws for only a selected group
of violators?

Whether they are decent folks, most of them, is not the issue. Let's not
even touch the subject of safety for the citizens of this nation. Among
those decent and hard-working folks, many disguising themselves as Mexicans
will take advantage of our negligence and lack of commitment to our own
laws.

We constantly turn back people that come here, not as immigrants but as
refugees. These have a more valid reason because they're persecuted in their
own country, and by escaping tyranny they risk their very own lives.

These good Mexicans need encouragement to do the right thing, which is to
demand from their democratic system of government to provide better
conditions for them.

What happens now with the millions already here?

It presents a problem and harsh punishment for many of these undocumented
and good workers, but they must be treated as any regular violator, as we
could be treated if disobeying the laws or lying to officials.

There must be a solution, usually the simplest is the best...

People that want to work in the US must apply for a permit from their
Mexican government. If a permit application is granted in Mexico and
forwarded to the U.S. Immigration Dept., then an appropriate permit can be
issued; for skilled, unskilled, trade or domestic workers. Anyone without
documentation is still in violation and must be returned.
Those that are unlawfully employed must be reported immediately in order to
obtain a temporary permit until the permit from the INS is obtained.
Fraudulent behavior by employers is a grave offense. Employers cannot hire
undocumented and illegal workers without facing severe consequences.

In short, the present laws should and must be enforced.
No ticket, No laundry.

rose,
As you may recall, I don't agree with many of my fellow conservatives on
this issue.
Although we need border security, we should also legalize many of the
illegals who are currently here; but they should also pay a heavy fine.
We must also increase legal immigration, including visas for unskilled
workers.
It's very easy for Americans to blame complex problems on foreigners;
they're an easy target.

Listen up a-hole, go F$%^ yourself!
You're going to kick my rear? You couldn't punch your way out of a
paper bag, you paki scum! I didn't spill the beans when it came to
telling you everything about me, you prick!

I would love to meet you in the back alley somewhere, so that you and I
could exchange some pleasantries then!

Your English doesn't sound too sensible to me either, paki, so there is
a communication issue right there.

You want to show me MY PLACE!

All I feel towards you is RAGE! I would love to tangle with a fat paki

May be you confused "Middle East" and "Middle Asia". Generally
speaking, they are two closed areas, but the sitations in these two
areas are quite different.

And, Russia never reposed and will never repose in Middle East or
Middle Asia. China now joined the competition. But China is a new
comer of the competition in these two areas, she has too much things to
do before she can influence others.

If you don't like it here, why did you move here? Obviously you must

That's correct. I travel all over San Francisco and Berkeley. People
don't offer me drugs. Okay, maybe once a month someone says "Late
Night" to me. I thought that was a drug like speed or something.
Turns out that someone wanted to sell me a late night Muni bus transfer

And speaking about transportation (this is crossposted to a

I'd rather we not spread any nuclear technology around. It would also be
better (overall, I think) if we didn't piss off Pakistan by helping India.
It would be nice if we could just walk into Pakistan and get bin Laden, but
getting bin Laden doesn't really seem to have ever been the plan. In
Pakistan, we have another terrorist breeding ground instead of an ally in
the "war on terror." That seems to be the ultimate result of Bush's
heavy-handed foreign policy.

Yeah, I live in Indiana. Mitch is probably not getting re-elected. I'm
impressed that people here are discussing impeachment! Indiana has been
very, very RED in my time here. I see promising signs of life though.
Along with the current crop of election signs someone has also been putting
up signs that just say "Bush Lies." You can't argue with that slogan!

That is not my biggest concern about nuclear weapons. To be killed by
ionizing radiation is terrible, but I don't think it's worse than a
lingering, painful death by some other means. No, I think the biggest
danger of nuclear weapons is what they do to the balance of power, and
how they make the world a far more dangerous place. Nukes give nations
which have them the power to destroy nations that don't have them, while
not risking their own destruction. It reduces the "price" in human terms
of making war against non-nuclear nations. This in turn motivates other
nations which don't have them to get them in self defense, and before
long, the world ends up a far more dangerous place than it was before.
That, to me, is the reason to protest nuclear weapons.

Much of this was covered in the documentaries I have seen -- in North
America.

Those who insist that people in North America have somehow been
sheltered from the truth about the bombs dropped on Japan don't know
what they're talking about. I'm sure many Americans haven't watched
these documentaries, but not because they aren't shown.

Calling me a whigger is just more evidence that you're some empty-headed
nitwit bent over a ledger full of numbers, cooking them one way then
another to support your ideology. You're a kook, and I'm willing to bet
that YOUR IQ and whatever else you consider racially significant is
pretty damn low. I'd rank you right there next to Topaz. I'd bet on
it. The more concerned you are with those things, the greater the
likelihood that you're lacking on those areas. You don't see geniuses
worrying about this shit, do you?

No, you don't.

Drugs companies 'inventing diseases to boost their
profits'

By Mark Henderson, Science Correspondent
The Times, UK
Tuesday, April 11, 2006

Pharmaceutical companies are systematically creating
diseases in order to sell more of their products, turning
healthy people into patients and placing many at risk of
harm, a special edition of a leading medical journal
claims today.

The practice of "diseasemongering" by the drug industry
is promoting non-existent illnesses or exaggerating minor
ones for the sake of profits, according to a set of
essays published by the open-access journal Public
Library of Science Medicine.

The special issue, edited by David Henry, of Newcastle
University in Australia, and Ray Moynihan, an Australian
journalist, reports that conditions such as female sexual
dysfunction, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder
(ADHD) and "restless legs syndrome" have been promoted by
companies hoping to sell more of their drugs.

Other minor problems that are a normal part of life, such
as symptoms of the menopause, are also becoming
increasingly "medicalised", while risk factors such as
high cholesterol levels or osteoporosis are being
presented as diseases in their own right, according to
the editors.

"Disease-mongering turns healthy people into patients,
wastes precious resources and causes iatrogenic
(medically induced) harm," they say. "Like the marketing
strategies that drive it, disease-mongering poses a
global challenge to those interested in public health,
demanding in turn a global response."

Doctors, patients and support groups need to be more
aware that pharmaceutical companies are taking this
approach, and more research is needed into the changing
ways in which conditions are presented, according to the
writers.

Disease-awareness campaigns are often funded by drug
companies, and "more often designed to sell drugs than to
illuminate or inform or educate about the prevention of
illness or the maintenance of health", they say.

Particular conditions that are highlighted in the journal
include sexual function in both men and women. The
prevalence of female sexual dysfunction, one paper
claims, has been highly exaggerated to provide a new
market for drugs, while the makers of anti-impotence
medicines, such as Viagra and Cialis, have been involved
with their presentation as lifestyle drugs that can boost
the sexual prowess of healthy men.

Ordinary shyness is routinely presented as a social
anxiety disorder and treated with antidepressants, while
newly identified conditions such as "restless legs
syndrome" - a constant urge to move one's legs - are
presented as being much more common than they really are.

Richard Ley, of the Association of the British
Pharmaceutical Industry, rejected the accusations,
pointing out that Britain has firm safeguards against
disease-mongering. Many of the authors' criticisms, he
said, were aimed squarely at countries such as the United
States, where pharmaceuticals can be openly advertised
directly to patients.

"Drug companies are not allowed to communicate directly
with patients, and we do not invent diseases," he said.

"We provide information that there are treatments out
there that might help certain conditions, but at the end
of the day it is down to health professionals to decide
if they are appropriate.

"The best safeguard is that the doctor who knows the
product and knows the patient's history is the one who
decides what to prescribe."

TRICK OR TREAT?

MENOPAUSE

Symptoms include hot flushes, night sweats and loss of
libido

Criticism too often "medicalised" as part of a "disorder"
when it is a normal phase of life

IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME

Symptoms
include constipation, cramps and diarrhoea

Criticism
promoted by drug companies as a serious illness
needing therapy, when it is usually a mild problem

SEXUAL DYSFUNCTION

Symptoms
impotence in men, lack of libido or difficulty
becoming aroused in women

Criticism
drugs such as Viagra marketed not only for
treating genuine erectile dysfunction caused by
medical problems but as lifestyle improvers

OSTEOPOROSIS

Symptoms
thinning of the bones, particularly among
postmenopausal women

Criticism
portrayed as a disease in its own right, when
it is really a risk factor for broken bones

RESTLESS LEGS

Symptoms
urge to move legs because of unpleasant
feelings, often at night

Criticism
prevalence of a relatively rare condition
exaggerated by the media, along with the need for
treatment

They would be shot, that is why. Look at the farm worker protests
down in southern mexico a few years back by some of the indian tribes
there. Seem to remember mexico just killing off the protestors.

So they know they can get away with it here. And they are. And since
they have no right to protest here, it does kinda make one wonder just
why they are allowed to.
